Well, we have been lazy in releasing the updates and I am really sorry for that but we have never thought of stopping ClipBucket development. Today we have new challenges to accomplish and add more features to be on Top.

There have been more scripts in the market and ClipBucket, still, so far has very positive image and we have now looking to FORGED it even deeper with your support.

Ok, now lets move to the main thing. Many of you are waiting for our new upgrade. Before I tell you what it will have I will only give you a glimpse of what we have in our mind to put in ClipBucket.

- HTML5, yes this time its for real
- A Whole new template using Twitter Bootstrap
- Un-hiding the hidden features of ClipBucket (due to lack of documentation, now we are positive)
- Some awesome improvements in our Collections and Photos section
- Full version of Audio
- The Mobile version
- Open Integration, using JS

And some more cool ideas we have been thinking of implementing on ClipBucket.

This time, I will not ask for anyone to help us in developing ClipBucket, I think we can develop anything with the help of my AWESOME LITTLE TEAM of CLIPBUCKET, if still anyone wants to help us in development, you are welcome.

I’ve tried almost all video sharing scripts, but your’s the best. Even you didn’t update till X.2011, it’s the best video script. I don’t have nothing to say which parts of script to improve, but I’m impatient waiting to see new things in this script.

One more think you should do on 1st priority is that, Data Base Close
after fetching data from database, i am currently running clip bucket
for images and videos, and i have more than 10k daily visitors, but if
more than 100 pplz open website in single seconds so there showing error
to my visitors “max_user_connection active connection”, but i am
also PHP developer having 3+ year code php experience so i have make
some changes in your code and my website running fine, but for another
peoples who love clipbucket, you make it correct.

1- fix the sorting problem of categories
2- custom fields like WordPresss if you experience it it is really easy to do also to call in any place without needing to be PHP HTML Master”adding fields to front page like if Tv series site can add number of episode filed and call it ”
3- in case of embed upload i think you should make the only the name and the embed link is the must others to be optional and thumb to be linked from the category if not add
4- please add a well done wiki defining every function in the script hot to us what it calls so that it make it reference after that i think the number of developer or even for plug in will be the world

Hi, I’m using Clipbucket, congratulations for developers ! I choose it cause i think it’s the best on the market ! but i have of course one question/suggestion, it’s about the admin area, when i click on “Video Manager” it takes too much time to display videos, cause it displays all the videos (i have currently more 800), is it possible to display only 10 ou 25 videos by page, the display should be more faster ! otherwise, all is working 100% fine ! Thanks to continue development of ClipBucket !

Please can you make sure all broken links in the present version are fixed in the new upgrade. Also can you make sure that it is compatible with existing theme templates.
A full descriptive and easy to use user manual would be greatly appreciated. Finally can I ask you to review your prices for your modules and templates. I use Boomex Dolphin for one of my other sites, they have a vast range of themes, plug-ins and ad-ons at very reasonable prices. I would love to use some of your existing plug-ins but I am not prepared to pay the price. I realise ClipBucket is free to use, but I would think you would have a greater number of people using it and buying the plug-ins if the price was competitive.

Arsalan bro i have suggestion but may it will not possible in the new coming version but may be you consider it in future, the suggestion is to avail direct youtube upload plugin, may be it will not for free, i have seen youtube API for direct upload into your channel which you have specified with user and pass and if user of your website upload video it will use the form of or cb but the file will send to youtube servers i hope this feature will be greatfull for us thanks!

pls make option to off video conversion process so that i can use this script on servers that dont have FFMEGP and other conversion features and pls add option for direct flv & mp4 formats and thier thumbnail uploading also so that it can be used for ppl who need to upload FLV MP4 only and thus eliminates FFMPEG Feature

Hello,
We just launched our site using your platform. I think Clip-Bucket is one of the best around. Here is our site http://realitywebvideo.com. Anyway, being the best doesn’t mean it is perfect. I can see the platform to be real SNS no just Youtube clone. I have a few suggestions for future upgrades.

1: To have blog function in each user’s Channel. This would be very important to keep the site active which is the single most important thing for SNS or any community site. Not everyone can post videos everyday but they can write something everyday like Facebook. It doesn’t have to be full featured like WordPress but simple text message board just for that channel owner. Hopefully photo or video’s can be embed in the blog article as well. I would think that can be placed in one of the tabs of Channel page along with info, videos, activities..

2: Music section. Along with video and photos, it would be nice to have music upload page which is separate from other medias. And hopefully links you can add to buy those musics on iTunes or cdbaby.com.

3: Separate Channel into different tabs. Separate users by either user level, category or group and put them in different pages (see my site for example. Pro Musicians, Dealers, Members tabs are basically all Channels).

Those are my ideas.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see what next update will offer. Please keep up the great work!!

HTML5 video player is long overdue, we are extremely please to see this will be coming in the new update. Can you please clarify if you will have a mobile theme as standard in the update. We DO NOT want to buy it now and have it come out for free in a couple of weeks. Keep up the fantastic work, CB is the best video CMS on the system for scalability and customization.

Arsalan bro plz look seo meta tags in new version, i have modified the meta tags but still i can’t modify the videos, channels , help, faqs and more default pages meta tags and also i have noticed that if i have 3 cats e.g ABC, ABC1, ABC2 so if i click to ABC2 i can see in title of the page a same title which showing on videos page its not modified to the category name. plz into this thanks! i have noticed more pages that has duplicate keys and desc, i m looking for it bye ALLAH HAFIZ.

You are the Best!! Arslan. I just tried 7 different demos of all tue different video scripts and by far – Clip Bucket is the Best. Faster than all the others and best features even though we can all complain about something. This truly is a great script.

hello arslan, i would like to suggest you a great plugin for embed media.
the plugin (mod) name is “Aeva Media” or “Aeva (Media Gallery & Auto-embedder)” and its for SMF (Simple Machines Forum).
Aeva Media support 200+ video websites for auto embed videos in SMF forum. I think that the CB needs it.

i am not a developer and i didnt have enuff knowledge to modify this for CB.
If I know I would have Modify and Test on my website vidsvision.com the another CB website. you have to do this. make it free or set a price, its up to you and your work. I can spend the money for it.

much like the announcements this is very much how the support works as well with weeks or a month without an answer, most people don’t have a problem paying for items but when you just out right ignore what people are asking they are really reluctant to offer any money.
